Legal Help and Hotlines

Get Started

LAS-ELC provides about 3,000 low-income workers across California with free and confidential legal services each year through a variety of clinics.

Our clinics offer information and one-on-one counseling about employment rights and discrimination, workplace safety, denial of wages, unemployment benefits, harassment, and wrongful termination, among other issues. Trained law students and paralegals staff the clinics, supervised by attorneys who specialize in employment law. Services are available in Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese, and we often can accommodate other languages. Phone consultations are available.

Please consult our income guidelines to learn whether you are eligible. To learn more, read our Workers' Rights Clinic FAQ.
